Meadow Park Elementary School is a K-6 school in the Irvine Unified School District. The project included a campus-wide master plan, comprehensive modernization of the 30-year-old campus, and an addition of a new multi-purpose classroom building for performing arts as well as technology and collaboration spaces. The unique architecture of the existing building presented many opportunities for well thought out design to update the spaces to a more modern usage.
Additional features at Meadow Park include: new innovations labs, design labs, and specialty spaces for collaborative student focused learning. In addition, Meadow Park has a significant medium to severe learning disabled student population. Each of the collaboration spaces for special education are carefully thought out to provide a supportive and creative learning environment for the students.
