Irvine Unfied School District
The Meadow Park Elementary School Comprehensive Modernization project with Irvine Unified School District consisted of a campus-wide master plan and full modernization of the 30-year-old K-6 campus. The building’s unique architecture presented challenges as well as new opportunities for innovative design, updating and enhancing the spaces for more modern usage.
New features of the re-imagined campus include an innovations lab, design (science) lab, and specialty spaces for collaborative student-focused learning.
Meadow Park also has a significant medium-to-severe-learning-disabled student population. Particular care was given to design of these special education spaces to provide students with supportive and creative learning environments that cater to their specific needs.
