San Diego, CA
San Diego Unified School District
Holly Drive Leadership Academy, a cornerstone of the San Diego Charter School Community for 22 years, is embarking on an exciting modernization project as it secures a permanent home near 47th Street and Marilou Road. This project involves the removal of all existing portable classrooms and the construction of three new buildings. These include an Administrative Office with a new kitchen and two classroom buildings designed for kindergarten through 8th grade students.
In addition to the new buildings, the site will undergo significant improvements to enhance the overall learning environment. These improvements include the addition of staff and visitor parking, expansive play areas for children, and a large, shaded lunch area. Furthermore, the creation of a vegetable garden will provide students with the opportunity to engage in planting and growing their own food, fostering a hands-on learning experience.
This modernization project aims to provide a state-of-the-art learning environment that supports the educational and developmental needs of all students.
