Professional Profile

Rebecca brings over a decade of experience in TK–12 educational architecture, guiding complex projects with clarity, purpose, and collaboration. She is known for building strong partnerships with school districts and leading teams toward thoughtful, well-coordinated solutions that support long-term educational goals.

Originally from Northern California, Rebecca relocated to San Diego shortly after graduating high school to pursue her dream of becoming an architect. She began her formal training at the NewSchool of Architecture and Design in the East Village, a setting that fueled her creativity and introduced her to lifelong friends who continue to influence and inspire her.

But Rebecca’s love for architecture began long before college—before she even knew what “architecture” truly meant. As a child, she spent hours building with Lincoln Logs, crafting elaborate Barbie Dream Houses, and sketching the homes she saw across the street. She was always drawn to the idea of shaping spaces where people could feel connected, safe, and inspired. That instinct would eventually guide her toward a career centered around educational environments and community impact.

After graduating, Rebecca launched her professional journey with StudioWC, where she quickly found her passion for TK–12 educational architecture. She earned her license and became a partner soon thereafter, contributing her voice to the strategic direction, culture, and continued growth of the firm. Known for her purposeful leadership, collaborative approach, and ability to navigate complex projects with clarity and balance, she now plays a key role in guiding school districts across Southern California through meaningful campus transformations.

Around the same time her career was taking off, Rebecca moved to Carlsbad to start and raise her family—a community that perfectly supports her love of creativity, coastal living, and connection. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring new places and experiences with her husband and kids, cheering on the San Diego Padres and the San Francisco 49ers, and spending quality time with friends. Weekends often revolve around children’s sports, bike rides to the beach, and soaking in the moments that matter most.
