Robert Webb’s 47 years of experience includes creative design in many areas of educational, public, and private architecture. He has been providing architectural project management, design, and construction administration on educational projects exclusively since 2000. Additionally, he is an experienced general contractor, specifications writer, and cost estimator. Bob also has extensive experience in and is responsible for Sustainable Design, ADA compliance, code analysis, and project quality control.
Personal Story
Robert (Bob) Webb grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico and enjoyed spending all four seasons outdoors, exploring the mountains, lakes and rivers. Bob was the first in his immediate family to attend college. He was greatly influenced by his aunt, uncle and their group of educated professional friends.
He attended University of New Mexico and graduated with his degree in fine arts, then went on to become an architect. Bob enjoyed Albuquerque but always wanted to live near the water. When an opportunity came up in 1999 to move to the San Diego area he jumped at the opportunity.
Bob’s practice in New Mexico was a general architect working in a variety of project types including residential, commercial, state and federal projects. Moving to the San Diego area and larger market he found a passion for education design and an opportunity to specialize.
Bob is happily married and lives in Encinitas. Upon considering his many accomplishments, he feels his best greatest one is raising their kids to become accomplished and successful, as well as good people.
Bob likes to spend free time on the boat with his wife and co-owner of StudioWC, Deb and their dog Lila. The best times are when they get to take their grandkids to Catalina and hang out on the boat for the weekend. Bob enjoys yoga and scuba diving and community service.
