As a first-generation college student, Melody has approached her career with curiosity and resourcefulness — a perspective that shapes the way she approaches every project. She has over eight years of experience working in architecture and the built environment, bridging marketing and design to create work that connects people to the spaces they inhabit. Her passion lies in creating work that is both empathetic and impactful and she thrives in taking on a tough or complex challenge.
Personal Story
As a native East Coaster, it was a longtime dream of Melody’s to move to California. She finally made it happen in the fall of 2023 and has not looked back. From a young age, she was drawn to color and art, and pursued a degree in graphic design, the first in her family to attend college.
In her professional life, she is passionate about design and its power to impact people’s lives in deep and meaningful ways. In her life outside of work, she finds joy and inspiration in cooking, reading, traveling, and connecting with family and friends. An avid hiker, she spends most weekends outdoors, preferably away from civilization.
