This large project was a significant undertaking for Sweetwater Union High School District. The property was available in a desirable location, however, its size was significantly under the CDE recommended site size. The District needed a high school which would integrate with the newly planned university across the street. The concept was to provide students the ability to extend their education while still in high school. The scope of services performed by StudioWC key personnel included: programming, schematic design, public hearings, public presentations, user group meetings, design, DSA approval, Educational Specifications preparation, CDE submittal, and OPSC application preparation. The project is currently on hold due to declining enrollment and funding. StudioWC will begin an update to this school for SUHSD in the near future.
